The Chillicothe VA Medical Center is located 5 miles north of Chillicothe on 308 acres of rural land once occupied by World War I Camp Sherman – the third largest training camp in the nation during the First World War. The beautiful campus-style facility provides acute and chronic mental health services, primary and secondary medical services, extended care, a wide range of nursing home care services, and serves as a chronic mental health referral center for other VA facilities in southern Ohio. An active ambulatory care setting, including several mental health services, specialty medical services, and specialized women Veterans clinics is also available. 

A 1970 graduate of Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute in India, Dr. Padmaraju relocated to the United States to further his training. He performed his internship at Franklin Square Hospital Center in 1972, his residency in internal medicine at Church Home Hospital in 1974, and an additional residency in internal medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital in 1975.

With over five decades of experience, he is licensed to practice medicine in several states, including Ohio and New York.
